Which Super Bowl advertiser won the Most Tweeted award? According to Brand Bowl, a company that measures public reaction to commercials airing during the Super Bowl by monitoring Twitter, it was Doritos. The brand generated 48,498 tweets, 29 percent of which were positive.

It’s Groundhog Day…again!

In honor of Bill Murray and Punxsutawney Phil here’s the original trailer from the film Groundhog Day. The movie stars Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell and was written by Danny Rubin with director Harold Ramis.

To celebrate the launch of their new 2012 CR-V, Honda brought Ferris Bueller’s Day Off back in a commercial for the Super Bowl. They cast Matthew Broderick as himself, skipping out on a day of acting work and living it up in his CR-V.

J.K. Rowlings announced the launch of Pottermore, her online reading experience a few months ago.

Rowlings said Pottermore will be built, in part, by the reader. The elements of Pottermore are inspired by Rowling’s Harry Potter books and the site will be the exclusive place to buy e-books and more. Rowling said she will be sharing information about Harry Potter’s world she’s been hoarding for years.

Pottermore is currently in Beta Test and all pages are only available to the one million fans who are part of the test. The site was supposed to complete beta testing in October 2011, but they decided to continue the test and open registration when they’re confident Pottermore is the best it can be.
