I loved the individual stories that originally began premiering in May 2008 where each character had their therapy session featured, Roy Ray on Mondays, The Alegrias on Wednesdays and Dottie on Fridays. But putting all the stories about one event together makes it even funnier.

FUNNYFIXX NOTE: This Thurapy story was based on the horrific wildfires we had in Florida in June 1998. Even though I was living in LA at the time, I just happened to be home in Northeast Florida to visit my family when the fires started. I remember driving along I-10 with my mom and seeing smoke from several fires on both sides of the interstate. It isn’t unusual to see smoke from one fire, but spotting five fires in different locations at once was frightening. The fires burned south until over 500,000 acres were scorched. My brother Charlie is a fire captain in Central Florida and was one of the heroes that saved lives and homes.

FUNNYFIXX NOTE: When you grow up in the swamps of Florida, you hear all kinds of funny hunting stories. This is one of them.

Bernie learns one of Regina’s darkest secrets and their marriage is in jeopardy.

FUNNYFIXX NOTE: So does it matter if you tell white lies to impress someone in the beginning of a relationship? Or maybe it’s that minor misunderstandings grow into major mistruths over time and you’re not brave enough to ‘fess up. In the Alegria home things are never as they seem and the question becomes: will Regina and Bernie’s love survive the lies.

FUNNYFIXX NOTE: You know how gossip can get out of control…well, it’s always like that in Panther County. Even the town therapist blabs about her clients. A no-no which comes back to bite her in the butt.

FUNNYFIXX NOTE: Panther County is the Peyton Place of rednecks and I love mixing “outsiders” with “insiders.” You never know when the sparks will fly and ka-boom!

FUNNYFIXX NOTE: One minute your bed’s just fine, the next minute it’s on fire. That’s the price for being Panther County’s most eligible redneck, right?

The Alegrias wake up to a dragon under their house and the neighborhood turns out for the excitement.

FUNNYFIXX NOTE: After editing our second webisode together with the three points of view, we’re seeing that the stories the characters tell is actually funnier when we can see them together. We still like the individual character sessions from the original webisodes, but this is a good way to revisit the stories. What do you think?
