Carrie, the cairn terrier, loves to play in the yard. But our giant live oak tree shed massive pollen this year and Carrie is like a canine dust mop collecting pollen as she plays. Instead of getting frustrated with Carrie attracting so much pollen, we decided to celebrate with a video!

Ever gotten to that place in a conversation where you could drive a Mac truck through the tunnel of silence? The most embarrassing awkward pause is when you’ve been talking with someone for five minutes and discover he is not the old boyfriend you thought he was. Awkward!!

This video was produced by The XOF Project for the 2009 National Film Challenge, a short film competition. Their genre is: mockumentary. The title of their film is Awkwardity and it’s about the awkward pause and how it effects our everyday lives.

This short film was made for the 2009 Jacksonville 48 Hour Film Project by team: Somebody Call An Ambulance. It won multiple awards at last night’s awards ceremony including: 2nd Place Overall, Audience Choice Screening Group C, Best Director, Best Sound Design, Best Cinematography and Best Graphics.

The team describes their film: This wasn’t Dani’s ordinary trip to the dentist. Will it be her last?
