This video is from a TV network in New Zealand. It looks like something the Onion Network would produce, but I swear this video is real.
A rural New Zealand town is upset that their annual dead rabbit throw has been canceled. An animal cruelty director in New Zealand said that throwing bunnies is “sick.” The town, however, thinks that throwing dead bunnies is not “sick.” The animal cruelty director’s response: “Do you throw around your dead grandma for a joke?”
Well, of course, they don’t seem to have an issue with cruelty to pigs. The Annual Rabbit Throw was always held during the Annual Pig Hunt and dead pigs were carried on the backs of contestants after the hunt to see who could get to the finish line first.
Those Kiwis are so interesting!

Brooks Brandal, Jacksonville filmmaker, won the Jacksonville.com Cinemania Video Contest with this cool animated vid. I’ve always secretly seen myself as a cartoon character, especially in the morning after a couple cups of caffeine. I’m glad Brooks didn’t make me look fat.
