I love the Governor of Mississippi commenting about how BP putting money in escrow to make payments to those impacted by the disaster would make it less likely BP will make profits and therefore less likely they’ll all get paid. Huh?
And the U.S. is shaking down BP and should apologize according to Rep. Joe Barton of Texas. OMG! Apologize?! A dumb statement according to Barton’s fellow Republicans. Okey dokey.
And Tony Hayward yachting (not in the Gulf) while oil is spewing into the Gulf? At least he’s postponed the dolphin and manatee hunt.
