Are you a perfectionist? Know someone who is? You gotta see this!

All Bean Maxwell wants is for the picture on his foyer wall to hang level. But will his dedication to the little details cause him to lose sight of the bigger picture?

This is a film by Michael Rutter produced at Florida’s Ringling College of Art + Design, Department of Computer Animation.

FUNNYFIXX NOTE: My husband Robert has a thing about getting pictures exactly level, so I identified with this funny video. Fortunately, Robert hasn’t had to put the house on jacks yet. (Hope he doesn’t see this.)

THE REAL HUGH LAURIE

Time: 2:20

If you’re a fan of the Fox series “House” and you adore Hugh Laurie as the terribly unpleasant Dr. House, have a look at a kinder, more gentler Hugh Laurie in this video.

Hugh Laurie breaks away from his sketch comedy character to pay his respects to his comedy partner Stephen Fry. Very funny short from classic BBC sketch show “A Bit of Fry and Laurie” broadcast on both BBC2 and also BBC1 between 1989 and 1995. It ran for four series’ and totaled 26 episodes, including a 35 minute pilot episode in 1987.

FUNNYFIXX NOTE: The first time I watched “House,” I hated Hugh Laurie’s character and wondered how a series with such an unsympathethic lead character had made it to the network lineup. The second time I was forced to watch “House” (my husband was a fan of the younger Hugh Laurie), I hated the character less. Finally, I’ve grown to be intrigued by Dr. House and gladly watch the series every week.
