FUNNYFIXX NOTE: On my search for the “official” version of the dance at the end of Slumdog Millionaire, I stumbled upon a couple of fascinating videos. The one above was a remix created by fans.

The video below was created by the gifted folks at Benderspink (one of Hollywood’s coolest management and production companies) as their 2008 holiday short/greeting card.

Thanks for posting the Jai Ho dance at the end of the movie…it was much needed levity (not to mention good music and dance) after so much intensity! This movie is a true gem. You feel every emotion, multiple times and on many levels – what a truly well-written and beautifully directed/produced movie should do. And unlike my other favorite movie of the year, “Milk”, you hoped for the happy ending (we all knew how Milk was going to end) and sure enough, Simon and Danny delivered.

I hope Mr. Rahman will keep delivering music that gives you happy feet! And congrats to “Slumdog”…every Oscar it won was truly deserved.
